I’ve been dreaming about this trip for almost a year. Almost a year of planning where we’d go, what we’d eat, and of course who we would see. I hadn’t been back home to Jamaica in OVER 13 years. I’ve never taken my husband and my little ones obviously have never been. I just hoped after all the hype they’d love and enjoy Jamaica as much as I do.
After a 6 hour flight from LAX to Montego Bay we were finally there. Walked off the plane to feel that humid weather I had grown so accustomed to as a child. I could hardly contain my excitement for the 3 weeks that were to come. We headed to a small town in hills called Guys Hill. This was our home base for the next few weeks. We were exhausted after the redeye flight but not enough to not explore as soon as we got to the house.
