After a couple days in Guys Hill we headed back down the hill to Ocho Rios. I want to take a moment to describe this hill we had to go up and down. Picture a one way highway for 2 way traffic with huge pot holes, vast lush green terrain, and if you went too far to one side you’d fall off a cliff. So it took quite some time to go up and down this hill. Now we’re finally in Ochi (Ocho Rios) where we stayed at the amazing Villa Dora Mae in Mammee Bay. The house was stunning but the real treat were the fresh coconuts on the trees and the private beach at Old Fort Bay. Actually, I think this beach was “public” but you can’t actually get to it unless you have access through the guard gate.
The kids are having so much fun… they want to “move to Jamaica”. This makes me so happy.
