What the What?

The past few weeks have been crazy with lots of life changes and even though these little ones drive me crazy they’ve kept me sane through it all.

Things he says

“Kids say the darndest things” is a statement I never truly experienced until now that I have a 3 year old that talks non-stop.  The kid is so literal I can’t help but laugh at his responses even when I’m attempting to be stern.  When he’s fresh I ask “who do you think you’re talking to with that tone?” Kingston simply replies “I’m talking to you mom”.

While shopping at the local grocery store he’s pleading with me to buy him juice boxes for school “mom, I need these they’re hydrating” [where did he learn that?]

He’s listening to one of his dad’s favorite songs and the lyrics go “it’s as easy as taking candy from a baby…” Kingston asks “why does he want to take candy from a baby?” [sweet boy he is]

What’s she up to?

she’s a little toddler who knows what she wants… when she says “no” she really means it [so decisive]

she follows me everywhere even to the bathroom… I remember Kingston doing this too [it’s that unconditional love]
